Please continue this great work bringing high quality equipment for the professional market. Bought this [NTG-2] as I wanted to have the option of connecting it to a non powered mic socket using the internal battery compartment.
It's a very easy to use mic and the sound quality is superb. I would definitely recommend this mic to any video photographer. I love the robust K2. I own a pair of them. Thanks for your technology. The iPhone 5 [iXY] and adaptor worked perfectly and proved much more secure than anticipated. We have found the quality of manufacture to be reliable and consistent. The NT4 renders audio almost flawlessly!
Especially on acoustic instruments. I don't know but in some cases the recording sounds better than the instruments in the studio!
This mic has solved a lot of my stereo production issues! Just tried the NT4 Rode stereo mic on an acoustic. I prefer to take the M1 on these tours because it's so durable. It sounds great too!
This is the true all around winner microphone for all types of recordings.
I agree.Hello, I have recently upgraded from Windows 8 to Windows YouTube, 8 Tracks and other applications work-just not the sound recorder app and an online language program I am trying to use to record my voice. I've scoured the internet for how many hours-looking up forums, videos, articles, and the Microsoft website, and nothing has helped. Also made sure for both that all the exclusive modes were checked for both. Tried to download it from the manufacturer website Realtek did not go through.
Tried to uninstall like many have said and reboot, still the same static sound. I cannot even roll back to previous realtek sound card. I've done everything, and if I missed something here, I've probably done it but I just can't remember to type it here. I also looked at Microsoft's website to fixing sound issues with no avail. User Replied on September 15, Hello. Welcome and thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community. First of all, I would suggest you to install all the latest updates released by Microsoft from Windows Updates and check if that helps or not.
And to update your drivers, please follow the steps and let us know if it helps fixing the issue or not:. I'm sure you've been here a few times already. Let it install those drivers. Then reboot and check if it helps. Hope this helps. Please post us if you need any further assistance with Windows. Did this solve your problem? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. If you are using the Realtek HD Audio Manager, open your microphone settings and turn the "Microphone Boost" option all the way down to zero.
Thank you for documenting this issue. I have a Dell Inspiron 13 seriesrunning windows 10 64bits.
I have had the same problem with recording my voice or using a mic on platforms such as google hangouts, skype, adobe connect, etc. This renders my computer inoperable and actually inaccessible since I too use a voice recognition software to type due to a chronic disease. My computer is under warranty. Maybe yours wasn't anymore and you didn't have access to the type of technical support I did with no positive result to day.
Would you please provide us with an update? Did you find a fix?Basically, when the camera cannot sense an audio input signal it automatically increases the gain of the input. It is increased so much that the noise floor in the camera microphone amplifier becomes audible. The AGC can be disabled on some cameras and it is worth checking with you camera manufacturer for information on this, which can sometimes require a firmware update to the camera.
We recommend setting your audio levels manually to achieve an optimum signal to noise ratio and disabling the AGC of the camera. Please ensure you enter all the requested details. Windows 10 Microphone Static/Crackling Problem?-Please Help!
A great trip arranged by a great travel agent and company.
Any Nordic trip we plan in the future will have us contacting Nordic Visitor. My wife and I chose Nordic Visitor to arrange this self drive tour for us.
We travelled in July and were very lucky with the weather. Iceland is one of the most beautiful countries we have ever visited, and we were impressed by the friendliness and hospitality of the people ( and also by the fact that almost everybody spoke English).
From pick-up at the airport to the selection of the places to stay, every detail was exactly as advertised and flawless.
The documentation we received prior to arrival and then again in Reykjavik was plentiful and very useful. We are full of praise and shall share our experience with friends and family. Thordis: Excellent, excellent, excellent. Everything provided and planned for was fabulous and amazing. Everything provided was perfect!!. My favorite place was the Blue Lagoon.
I went there, twice, The massages were awesome!!. I used Nordic Visitor when I travelled to Iceland for the first time, and it was a wonderful experience. They gave us free passes to the Blue Lagoon for our birthdays, and they also let us change our itinerary after we arrived when we realized we wanted to spend more time with a friend in Reykjavik. This was at no cost to us.
The thing I appreciated most was the fact that they chose hostels for us that were difficult to find in guides, and this made our experience so much better. One hostel we stayed at (Hrifunes) was just a small house on top of a mountain, and I never would have known to stay there, but it was my favorite of all the hostels. I will definitely use Nordic Visitor again in their other locations. I had such a wonderful experience with them.
Nordic Visitor, with Alexandra as our local travel specialist, set up our nine night self-drive tour and thought of everything. Our personal taxi driver met us at Keflavik Int'l Airport after an overnight flight from Boston to hand us our travel documents, local cellphone, and give us a guided tour on our way to our Keflavik hotel. The documents (map, detailed itinerary, highlights of Iceland on our route, useful information, expanded tourist information guidebook, and daily travel vouchers) directed us around the island with ease and were very professionally put together.
The Nordic Visitor arranged rental SUV (SUV allows access to restricted back-country roads) came with a free GPS. The middle level Comfort Accomodations were quite adequate. Alexandra was always there for us: before the trip to relay details and answer e-mail questions, on arrival in Reykjavik to further recommend sights along our route, during the trip if needed via out free cellphone, and at the end of the trip during the extra day that she arranged for us in Reykjavik.
Everything was well organized and complete.
We particularly liked having a cell phone for emergencies etc. We loved that the route and accommodations were arranged for us.
This took a lot of stress out of the trip. We loved Iceland and will consider returning as well as using Nordic visitor for future travel to other destinations. Nordic Visitor was one of the best travel decisions I've ever made.
They made everything so easy, while giving us the freedom of being able to 'adventure' on our own. Our itinerary and maps were comprehensive, with many personal touches from Thordis, our travel agent. I hope to book another trip with Nordic Visitor again soon. Helena was one of the best travel consultants I have ever worked with.
She quickly answered all questions and was a delight to work with. We just returned from our trip and we wanted to tell you thank you.One of those annoying people who had settled on a career before I knew how to drive, I was a young and enthusiastic reporter on the education beat. This week, a jury found the police officer who killed him not guilty of murder or manslaughter. At the time, the man who shot him, former Officer Philip Brailsford, was on trial for second-degree murder, and body-cam footage of the killing had yet to be released.
Now, that chilling, deeply disturbing video is available. The relevant portion begins at the 12 minute 50 second mark. Be forewarned: An innocent human is killed. It is difficult to watch. But this is the footage that jurors reviewed in the case, and if the public wants to diminish the likelihood of shootings like this one, ordinary citizens will need to grapple with what it depicts.
But the allegations against the president have largely stayed in the background. Lurking in the background of the roiling debate about harassment and assault in American society are the allegations made against President Trump by at least 19 women, many of whom came forward after the release of the Access Hollywood tape in October 2016.
Trump vociferously denies any wrongdoing. The following are images of personal victories, families and friends at play, expressions of love and compassion, volunteers at work, assistance being given to those in need, or simply small and pleasant moments.
While composing these, I am always reminded of one of my favorite quotes from Mr. There are plenty of things to appreciate about The Crown. Part historical saga, part soap opera, it gratifies the seemingly endless curiosity about the British Royal Family even as its central character remains something of a cipher.
But, as became clear in the final scene from the first season, when the Queen posed for official portraits shot by a Wordsworth-spouting Cecil Beaton, The Crown is also a superhero show. If the first 10 episodes presented the origin story for how an ordinary young woman transcended mortality to become something akin to a goddess, as her Uncle David put it, the second seasonreleased on Fridayexplores the conflict between her two identities: Elizabeth Windsor and Elizabeth Regina.

It would be a great marketing strategy. Yes, this is something that is firmly of the LAST century. It should be obvious by this point that gadgets are not the value proposition for consumers. Not so slowly but surely, the cows are being led down the chute to paying for the content they consume.
What is interesting are the implications for geek technology cultures which previously signified first adopters and heralded either success or failure of a service or product. Amazon and iStores fit in well with that. Especially when you compare this with iTunes. There is such an allure to those Apple products, at least so far as I can tell, that Amazon needs to make purchasing a Kindle a simple, almost compulsive act.
Especially when you buy that iProduct used!!. This seems to be an almost unnecessary argument for eReaders. The ability to carry a very large library makes sense there.
With a book, however, I can rarely see the need to carry more than one or two (assuming you might be finishing the current book shortly). I think the killer app in this regard is actually textbooks and reference books. Large, heavy textbooks at that. Not only do they have the advantage in storing large collections, but search, annotation and other features are far more useful and necessary in this area than they are to the casual reader.
Academic journals will still need to be read and utilized on computers, but the additional ability to access them on an eReader would certainly be a boon in many fields.
The only flaw is that this would require devices capable of color and with a good ability to display graphics. I also suspect that it would only come to a suitably open platform, not one as locked-down as the Kindle with only one provider.
Considering many textbooks are currently the price of a Kindle it should be trivial to find a way to encourage their acceptance heavily. Partnering with schools and offering a method to automatically find and buy all of your books for a semester would help greatly with keeping students with it through convenience. Why bother tracking down all the books you need, ordering them in advance (either online or reserving them with the campus bookstore) when you can get everything within minutes with a single click and not even having to think about it.
With paper books, depending on how long I will be gone for, that means carrying as many as five books at a time. I used to think text books were going to be the killer use, but have changed my mind about that, at least in the current state of the Kindle.Certainly price bookmarking for revisiting. I surprtise hoow much attempt you put to create this type of excellent informative site.
